Now this is an experimented fun recipe that I once made for myself and it tasted awesome. Maggi is one of the fav’ snacks of every 90’s kid till date for sure. I am sure, like me everyone has got fond Maggi memories of their childhood. Keeping my childhood maggi memories alive, I recreated maggi with a little twist. Read below to know about it.
INGRIDIENTS REQUIRED:
1. 2 Maggi packets
2. Roasted peanuts
3. Brown\milk bread
4. Veggies of your choice( carrots, beans, onions, tomatoes, capsicums, peas, etc)
5. Spices:
. Cumin powder
. Coriander powder
. Chilli powder
. Chaat Masala
. Black Pepper powder
6. Refined oil
7. Refined flour for the slurry
8. Mozzarella cheese
METHOD:
Step 1:
Boil the maggi as usual. After the water has dried up, add in all the veggies, peanuts and the above mentioned masalas and mix everything very well making sure everything has been incorporated together. After the veggies get cooked with the Maggie in it, turn off the flame and keep the maggi aside to cool down.
Step 2:
Take a slice of bread and roll it with a rolling pin in order to flatten he slice. Repeat for every slice. Now take a spoonful of the cooked maggi and place it at the centre of the bread slice and top it up with some mozzarella cheese. Cover the slice with an another bread slice and seal the edges with the flour slurry ( flour+ water). Press the bread pockets at the edges and repeat the steps for all the bread pockets.
Step 3:
Heat refined oil in a frying pan and deep fry the maggi and cheese stuffed bread pockets until golden brown. You can even bake the bread pockets.
Serve them hot with some hot and sour tomato ketchup and enjoy this fun recepi with your loved ones.
Happy Cooking…
